Our Liza was born on the longest day of the year on the summer solstice under the wide-open sky of Boulder, Colorado. She was an activist and a singer-songwriter. She had a dream to one day become a gypsy rover in her purple van as an artivist and travel to troubled places in this world, hear and document local stories, and write songs to then retell the tales. This event is a celebration of her life and that dream. By all of us gathering and enjoying each other’s company, music, food, performances, laughter, and giving a shit about this world—we honor her. We will call this legacy, Purple Rover. Let us continue to grow our love and enrich one another. So let it begin. ~~An event fueled by Liza’s community~~
Know that time is a figment of our imaginations and that love is the place where it all begins and ends. Surrender to this moment, this time, this place on earth for it is fleeting and changing and you will never have this exact moment again.
